A beloved landmark building in Stanley, Wisconsin has been given a welcome rebirth.

The HOMEPLACE of Stanley was the second HOMEPLACE developed in northwestern Wisconsin and opened just two years ago. Since that time the former Victory Hospital has become a four story complex serving those in need of assisted living. Twenty-three RCAC apartments are located on the top three floors. HOMEPLACE staff have served over 30 assisted living tenants in the past 2 years, many of whom still reside here. Our tenants and staff often know each other in this warm, interesting community which has a nice selection of churches, shopping, medical, parks, museum, library and other services close by.

The idea of small town assisted living saw its first HOMEPLACE in Mondovi, Wisconsin opening in 1999. The HOMEPLACE of Mondovi continues to provide both assisted living and dementia care in that community. The Stanley facility offers some unique added features. It not only houses a HOMEPLACE assisted living, but the ground floor features the popular Alberta May's Restaurant with public dining and banquet rooms (available for family meals, anniversaries and other special occasions). Stanley also is home to the Stanley's 5th Avenue Senior Retirement Community with 16 full-service apartments.
